The Opposition remains the Constitutional Arm of Government designated to hold the governing body accountable.
Typically, it’s the Political Party that opposed the Government in the previous election.
In this case, it’s a conglomeration of political entities of which PNCR is the largest.
This makes the PNCR the de facto voice of those who are concerned about government mismanagement, its racial demagoguery, its police brutality and above all, Government subcontracting of the critical right to vote to an American Agency now charged with reconstructing the national voting apparatus without the PNCR at the table.
Guyana, right now, has a Party Leader who is functionally absent and an Opposition Leader that is disrespected by the Foreign Community.
The country needs a viable political Opposition and an competent Opposition Leader and because we know Aubrey Norton, because we have been youth members of this political Party- PNC…R, because we’ve watched him grow in Guyana’s politics, through all of its leaders, through all of its Governments, we are supporting him for both Party and Opposition Leader and will rally for the support of all who want a better Guyana which cannot be had under the PPP, now coopted by a foreign Government and not for the benefit of Guyanese.

to take us into a future that is not characterized by the crime and the corruption that makes this Government, under this PPP, the choice of countries that seek to befriend Governments that can be compromised.
