Part of that is our unapologetic effort to preserve the precision, elegance, and clarity of full sentences, punctuated and expressed using the array of grammar and vocabulary that we’ve inherited from those who have safeguarded English for us to be able to claim as a first language.
Complementing this is the opportunity we get to be a journal of record, filling in where there is bias by omission, selective avoidance or imputing disrepute through deliberate misinformation/fabrication.
