As the dreams of oil bubble on the horizon Guyanese would be remiss to think wealth without looking at where they are currently.
The country has been systemically dismantled by the politics of despotism for decades – by both parties, especially the twenty three years prior to the Coalition Government- and to the peril of those who are not the direct recipients of the largess of loyalty.
Guyanese and all over the world need to keep this image of national poverty in the foreground as the government dithers with the nation’s oil contract and make as much noise and as often as is necessary to demand a contract that immediately improves the standard of living of those systemically mired in poverty and benefits nation building in every locale outside of the country’s Prado Ville’s .
